Little TJ’s nursery was the ideal room for this family photo shoot.  Even though he was in familiar surroundings, he was very serious during the shoot and watched the camera with an eagle eye!

TJ is a strong little boy and held his head up bravely while lying on his stomach – still watching the camera.

I didn’t dare put a foot wrong for fear that he would spot it and blow the whistle on me   His parents, Tumi and Buyi have a very affectionate relationship and clearly love little TJ to bits.

Tumi is SO proud of his son and we almost got a smile out of him while dad cuddled him.

Feeling secure in his parent’s love, TJ relaxed against his mum with dad behind her, enabling me to capture this shot of a happy, content family circle.

I feel privileged to share these special moments with my clients!

Four generations professional photo shoot

I recently had the privilege to do a professional photo shoot of four – yes four! generations for Jogeeta’s family.  Although it was cold outside we basked in the warm, loving atmosphere during this photo shoot.

I hope that in years to come the two little girls will look at these pictures and treasure the precious memories they made with their mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on this autumn day.

All of the ladies looked gorgeous in their turquoise and blue outfits and I love the splash of pink!

Little girls need to have a little fun during a family photo shoot and that is just what these two did.

My wish for Jogeeta’s family is that they will be blessed with having the four generations together for a long time to come!

Most outdoor professional photo shoots can be postponed when the weather doesn’t play along, but a matric dance comes along only once in a girl’s life.  Fortunately the rainy weather cleared up before the Chloe’s matric dance photo shoot and the light was perfect!

Chloe was fortunate to find her dress at the first shop the visited and she looked gorgeous in it!

Posing with her companion for her matric dance at Thaba ya Batswana she is the picture of poise and beauty.

A lot of attention went into planning the little details when putting together Chloe’s outfit and the result was breathtaking.

What is the one thing that toddlers want to do during an outdoor family photo shoot?  You guessed it - they want to be free and dance in the tall grass rather than be taken pictures of!

Evan and Emma listened to the calling of the wild and embraced their freedom with abandon.

With a lot of persuasion and patience Lyle and Tracy-Lee managed to get the two of them to sit still for a few moments.  Their reward – beautiful family pictures!

We had a lot of fun during their photo shoot and you can just see the mischief in Evan’s eyes while dad plays with him.

The girls didn’t play as rough as the boys and I captured this precious moment between mother and daughter.

What a happy family!
